eToro Rugby Championship relocated to Queensland

Tuesday 24 August 2021 11:14am

The Wallabies-Los Pumas rugby test match scheduled for McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday 25 September has been relocated to Queensland.

Rugby Australia has confirmed that as a result of the continuing COVID scenario across NSW and elsewhere, all Rugby Championship matches from round three onwards will be played in Brisbane, Townsville and the Gold Coast.

Rugby Australia CEO Andy Marinos said ticketholders to the McDonald Jones Stadium Test would be fully refunded.

“We hope everyone stays safe and we look forward to bringing world class rugby to fans right across the country next year,” he said.
