The nine-month wait between Wollongong clashes will come to an end with three crucial fixtures in the first eight rounds of the Dragons' campaign. They will begin in Round 3 (Thursday, March 24) against local derby rivals, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

What better way to spend Easter Sunday than at the football? The Dragons will take on steel city counterparts the Newcastle Knights in Round 6 (Sunday, April 17) before taking on the Wests Tigers (Sunday, May 1) a fortnight later.

Fresh off another grand final appearance, premiership heavyweights South Sydney Rabbitohs will return to Wollongong for the first time since 2014 in Round 15 (Thursday, June 16) and will precede the Canberra Raiders the following week (Sunday, July 3).

The Dragons' Illawarra-based run will conclude in Round 23 (Sunday, August 21) against the Gold Coast Titans, a fixture that hasn't occurred in Wollongong in 11 years!

Excitingly, WIN Stadium will see rugby league action sooner than the men's season. Instead the NRL Women's Premiership season will kick-off in the summer months for the first time.

WIN Stadium will host all three Women's Premiership games in Round 2 on Sunday, March 6; a triple-header which will culminate with the Dragons taking on the Parramatta Eels at 3:50pm.

"Determining our home game venues is always a complex matter but our Red V members, partners and fans should ultimately be happy with the allocation of games at our traditional home grounds in Kogarah and Wollongong," Dragons CEO Ryan Webb said.

"Being able to host NRLW games in both Kogarah and Wollongong for the first time ever is another exciting development ahead of a huge year for our club."

The Dragons' 2022 NRL and NRLW 2021 draws coincides with Red V membership going on sale for both teams last week. Be in that number. Become a Red V member today. For more information on membership, please visit: dragons.com.au/membership
